What they say.
Video and photo in Paris.
In Paris, everything gets filmed and photographed: the annual convention at La Défense, the product launch in a private mansion, the trade show at Porte de Versailles, the executive committee's portrait series. What is scarcest is an eye that keeps pace.
Paris concentrates head offices, the towers of La Défense, the exhibition venues — Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, the Palais des Congrès — and a start-up scene revolving around Station F. Events here are many, short and demanding: a keynote plays out in forty minutes, an evening in three hours, and you have to be in the right place at every moment.
We work here as we do everywhere: remote preparation, a location scout the day before when the venue deserves it, a light and mobile shoot so as not to crowd an already full stage, editing in Strasbourg. Travel is written into the quote, no surprises. And when several pieces are shot the same day — film, interviews, photos — we group them so your teams are disturbed only once.
DB Vision is based in Strasbourg and works across France and abroad. A project in Paris starts with a remote conversation — video call or phone — to frame the goal, the audience and the expected content. Then comes the writing, and a scout when the venue justifies it. On the day of the shoot, the crew and the gear arrive together; editing happens at the studio, with remote rounds of approval. Travel is written into the quote, no surprises.
The questions we get asked.
The short answers. The others are on the dedicated page.
You come from Strasbourg: is that a problem for a shoot in Paris?
No. Strasbourg and Paris are linked by direct train, the crew and the gear travel together, and preparation happens remotely beforehand. Travel appears in black and white in the quote. What matters is not where you leave from, but arriving prepared.
How do I know what kind of content I need?
You don't need to know before getting in touch. We start by understanding your business, your audience and what you want to improve. We then decide which formats fit best.
What exactly does DB Vision do?
DB Vision is a video & photo agency. Film, photography and art direction are its craft. Motion design and website work extend those three when a project calls for it, not as separate services.
Where do you work?
DB Vision is based in Strasbourg, in the heart of the Grand Est — and that does not stop it going where the work is: to Paris as anywhere in France, through its network of providers, and internationally on request.
How much does a project cost?
The figure depends on shooting days, crew size, scripting work and the number of delivered formats. It is set in the quote, after a first call.
What is your delivery time?
It is set in the quote and depends on the project: a short format is edited quickly, a film with several speakers and rounds of approval takes longer. No standard turnaround is announced upfront.
