Cookie Policy
How we use cookies and how to manage your preferences.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. It carries information from one page to the next — the contents of a shopping basket, for instance.
2. This site does not track you
We use no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager have been removed from this site.
We do measure traffic, to know which pages are read — but that measurement works without cookies and places nothing on your device. Your IP address is never stored: it is used for a moment in the calculation, then hashed with a salt renewed every day. The details are in our privacy policy.
3. The only cookies left
On the two shop pages, the basket system places technical cookies: they remember what you put in your basket from one page to the next. Without them the shop simply cannot work.
Those are called strictly necessary cookies. Regulation exempts them from consent, precisely because they are not there to watch you but to carry out what you asked for.
4. Why there is no longer a banner
A consent banner exists to collect an agreement. We have nothing to ask you for: no cookie on this site follows you, and the basket's cookies never needed your permission.
Showing a banner anyway would be an obstacle at the door with nothing in return for you. We preferred to remove it and explain the situation here.
5. Declining cookies in your browser
You remain free to block cookies in your browser settings. Be aware only that this will stop the shop's basket from working — the rest of the site will not notice.
